Street Camp (MS4A)

Street Camp was a city-wide project staged during the Sydney Architecture Festival, transforming public spaces into temporary hubs of social and architectural experimentation. Led by Rikkert Paauw, Hein Lagerweij and Genevieve Murray of FOUNDation Projects (NL), I helped facilitate through my role in Make-Space for Architecture. The initiative invited communities in Glebe, Millers Point, and the MCA Lawn to explore adaptable structures built from found and donated materials.

Part exhibition, part social space, Street Camp celebrated the stories of Sydney’s neighbourhoods through open conversations, pavilions, and collaborative urban making. The project culminated in an urban exhibit on the MCA Lawn, showcasing the diversity of voices and materials gathered across the city.
